One word: DLNA. Plex is my favorite Media Center Solution. I have it running on a Mac Mini and it plays nice with my LG Smart TV, MacBook Pro and all my iOS devices. And if you jailbreak your AppleTV2, it’s also compatible with that. A Windows version of the server component is also available.
