12 Days of Web is Stephanie Eckles‘s “advent” calendar.
A year-end celebration of fundamental web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Three days in, and she has already covered Intersection Observer, <details>
+ <summary>
, and CSS Custom Properties. Good stuff.
She’s simply a rock star. I was literally watching a youtube video interview with Stephanie as I landed here (after rereading your excellent article on Chris’s site on using the platform!). I really like that she’s very down to earth yet quite brilliant in her knowledge of the front-end.
Impressive how prolific she is as well — I need to learn this 11ty thing for 2022!
Anyway, just thought I’d stop by and say hi to a kindred spirit Bramus. Anyone pointing out the strengths of the platform, a11y, and inclusive semantic coding is all right by me 🙂
Thank you for your kind words, Rob. It’s heartwarming to hear you liked the “Embrace the Platform” post very much.
And yes, I also have a massive admiration for Stephanie and her work. The rate at which she produces things is impressive, but what amazes me more is that it’s **all** triple-A quality.
👍
