Future Friendly

Future Friendly is a manifesto / call to arms for making sure that our strategies for technology, design, and content will work fine on today’s and on the next-gen devices.

While we can’t know exactly what the future will bring, we can:

  1. Acknowledge and embrace unpredictability.
  2. Think and behave in a future-friendly way.
  3. Help others do the same.

As Jeremy Keith put it:

Instead of focusing on whatever this season’s model happens to be, we should be crafting our services in a robust way, striving for universal access tomorrow as well as today.

Be sure to read the posts by Josh, LukeW on Future Friendly and Mobilewood (the meet-up that sparked FF) too.
