Pandora/Spotify Earnings

Since we own our own recordings, by my calculation it would take songwriting royalties for roughly 312,000 plays on Pandora to earn us the profit of one — one — LP sale. (On Spotify, one LP is equivalent to 47,680 plays.)

  1. let’s say you do better then breakeven (which is hard for a lot of labels these days), and even get 2 euros profit on a lp sale. then you’ll need about 500 plays on spotify… or you just have a very bad digital distro deal 🙂
