Mint is nice, but it isn't the best stats program ever, eventhough it's very popular among web designers/developers (like me). I use it for several websites.
Mint is pretty limited, it does give you basic stat info at a glance but it can't compete with Google Analytics in terms of detailed and customized info. E.g. it is not possible to see daily visitor data older than one week. It is also very unclear how the "most popular pages" are calculated. Is this calculated over a period since installation? What about pages that became more popular the past month?
I check Mint stats daily, but for detailed stats I use Google Analytics. $30 doesn't seem much, but it's actually pretty much for such a basic stats program. I agree, it's nicely designed and if you're able to develop some peppers (plugins) you can do interesting stuff with it. But in my opinion it's a bit overhyped.
